Automatic Incoming Assignments is one of the two features available to apply assignments to your reviewers at the stage level. The following article describes this feature including how it is enabled and how it will save time in assigning applications to reviewers.

These assignments are automatic and distribute all incoming applications that enter their review stage to a set of reviewers and/or review teams. This feature can stand alone or work alongside Customized Reviewer Assignments (Assignment Rules) to assign any applications that do not satisfy assignment rules to an individual reviewer or to a set of reviewers.
When reviewers and teams have been selected to receive assignments they will appear at the bottom of the page in a table. They can quickly be removed by selecting their corresponding delete icon and saving the stage.
To setup Automatic Incoming Assignments for reviewers and/or teams:
- From the review stage configurations, select the Assignments tab
- Click the Select icon
- Select the reviewer(s) to receive incoming applications
TIP! Search for a reviewer name or team name using the search field to locate and select them quickly. If searching for reviewer teams, use the 'Reviewer Teams Only' filter by selecting the corresponding checkbox.
- Select Add
- Enable automatic review assignments at the top of the page.
NOTE: Reviewers will not receive assignments unless this setting is enabled.
- Save the stage
Selected reviewers and review teams can be removed at any time by revisiting the review stage settings and selecting the delete icon (x) next to the name of the reviewer or team you would like to remove. Changes will take effect after the stage is saved.
If assignments are not being distributed to the reviewers you have selected and you're unsure why, you may find the answer in the points below:

If the reviewer has multiple profiles within your site, it is easy to select one profile while the reviewer is using another. Verify with your reviewer which profile they are using and update the email if necessary.
Have applications entered the review stage since the reviewer was added to the distribution list?
Adding a reviewer to the incoming assignment list will not retroactively assign applications. Applications will only be assigned when they enter the review stage going forward.
