This article will outline how to delete a user completely from the site, cautions to removing a user and what happens after a user is deleted. Deleting a user is a permanent step and in most cases, we would recommend Deactivating Users instead.
When a User is deleted from the site all information that was completed by that user will also be deleted. We advise extreme caution when it comes to deleting Users from your site. If you wish to restrict users from accessing the site but wish to maintain the information they have submitted we would recommend deactivating their account instead.
How to Delete an Individual User from the Site
In order to delete a single user from the site:
- Go to Manage Users
- Go to the ALL tab.
- Locate the user in the list of users in your site
- Hover your cursor over the user and click on the More Options icon in the far right column
- Click Delete
- You will be asked, "Are you sure you want to delete these users?"
- Click Yes
How to Delete Multiple Users from the Site
If you wish to delete multiple users at one time:
- Go to Manage Users
- Select the users you wish to delete from the site
- Click Actions
- Click Delete
- You will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete these users?"
- Click Yes
